Our most recent communications with the head office reflect that he is in good health and is resuming his daily activities in his office as usual.

Dear Respected Believers,
Peace and Blessings upon you…
 
We ask the Almighty Allah to accept your deeds and worships in this Holy month of Ramadhan. We would like to inform the believers of the possibilities in regards to sighting the crescent for the Month of Shawal of this year.
 
Sayed al-Khoei followers (confirmed):
§         Based on the sightings of the crescent by the believers in Australia and the Middle East at sunset on Friday October 12th, 2007, it is decided that tomorrow Saturday October 13th, 2007 is the 1st of Shawal 1428.
 
Sayed al-Seestani followers in The Middle East & Australia (confirmed):
§         Based on the sightings of the crescent by the believers in Australia and the Middle East at sunset on Friday October 12th, 2007, it is decided that tomorrow Saturday October 13th, 2007 is the 1st of Shawal 1428.

The possibilities of the 1st of Shawal 1428, based on astronomical data are Saturday October 13th, 2007 or Sunday October 14th, 2007.  Confirmation of this information will depend on actual sightings received from believers tonight and tomorrow night insha Allah.
