The community of southern California held about 21 lectures in different languages and with many different people of various nationalities attending. Sayyid Mohamed Baqer al-Kashmiri participated and gave lectures at the Hassanain (as) Islamic Center in Orange County, California. The lectures were held at the Ibn Seena Center until the 13th Night of Muharram. This year Sayyid al-Kashmiri’s lectures focused on different topics regarding the Muslim community and its role in communicating with other communities. He also discussed its responsibility to protect the Islamic identity and its duty of holding commemorations in Ashuraa for Imam Hussain (as).
