This Ashura, Al-Jumhoor Al-Husayni hosts its first English program. In an effort to foster the love of Ahlul Bayt (as) in the youth, IMAM participated in the commemoration of the tragedy of the martyrdom of Imam Husayn (as) by providing  the lecturer Haj Aous Asfar to deliver a short lecture in English. The program, which starts at 9pm nightly is held in Dearborn at the old Islamic Center of America on Joy Road. The program starts with an Arabic lecture by Sayed Basim Al-Share' followed by the English program by Haj Aous Asfar, then food is served and the program is sealed with the recitation of lamentations.
