Sayyid Mohamed Baqer al-Kashmiri visited the al-Zahraa mosque in South Gate, California to participate and attend the Eid al-Ghadeer celebration. He gave a speech emphasizing the importance of taking lessons from the occasion and not only enjoying the celebration. The commander of the Faithfull’s joy and delight in his shia would be greater, if they sought knowledge and followed the Quran and the lifestyle of the Holy Prophet (pbuh&hf). His eminence reminded everyone that Allah (swt) warned the Muslims in the holy Quran,
“Be not like those who are divided amongst themselves and fall into disputations after receiving clear signs…”
     The problem is that the Muslims differed and split in the Khalifa to Ali Ibn Abi Talib (as). Therefore, the Nation will live in the difference and discrimination, as long as it’s not on the path of Ahlul-bayt (pbut). What we hear of appeals and cries inviting to unity, it is nothing but temporary invitations for self-interest, which ends in the ending of self-interest. After the Holy prophet’s death, Fatima Az-zahraa (as) invited everyone to true unity, since the first day of her speech in the Rasool Mosque, she said,
“And Allah imposed… our Obedience is a system of Religion and our guidance is safety from separation.”
 
Sayyid al-Kashmiri’s speech ended with explanation of the sighting of the crescent and the differences between the people, pointing out that the takleef is the Grand Jurist’s review and their religious views, not personal views because personal views will blind us and cause us to go astray, after the revelations came to us. Our awaited Imam al-Mahdi (atf) reminds us to refer to the Grand Jurists.
